Jumakhon Giyosov has been appointed Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization by the decision of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) from January 1, 2019.
He was born on October 28, 1966 in the Khatlon Province of the Repiblic of Tajikistan.
He has a higher education; graduated from the faculty of Russian language and literature of the State Pedagogic University of the city of Kulyab in 1993.
From 1993, worked as a teacher in secondary school No 17 of the Khatlon Province of the Repiblic of Tajikistan.
Mr. Giyosov started working for the national security of the Republic of Tajikistan from 1995.
Starting from 2010, he worked as a First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Religion, Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations and Rituals under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
From 2010, Mr. Giyosov worked as the Deputy Director of the SCO RATS Executive Committee.
