On August 11, 2013 on the frontier territory between China and KR the border services of both countries held “Joint border activities - 2013”, joint antiterrorist training maneuvers within SCO framework. The training between the border services of two countries was held for improvement of the joint command, inspections on the check point, detention on the border, etc., and full readiness to fight against terrorist threat was demonstrated.

About the participation of director of the execituve committee of regional antiterrorist structure of Shanghai Cooperation Organization as an observer in combined exercise «COMBINED BORDER ACTIVITY - 2013»

On 11th of August 2013 on a border territory of PRC and KR between two border departments of two states combined antiterrorist exercises within the framework of SCO «Combined Border Activity — 2013» was held. Exercises between border departments of the two states was held on the line of combined command, examination on entry points, border apprehension and etc., complete preparation for struggle against terroristic threat was also performed.

In line with the clause 1.2. of the Cooperation Program of SCO Member-States to Combat Terrorism, Separatism and Extremism and according to the decision of the SCO RATS Council dated 14.09.2012 “Kazygurt – Antiterror – 2013” the joint counter-terrorist training maneuvers were conducted on 13.06.2013 for competent bodies of SCO member-state under coordination of the SCO RATS EC.

For execution of point 1.2 Programs of SCO member states cooperation in struggle against terrorism, separatism and extremism and in accordance with the decision of the Council of Regional Antiterrorist Structure of SCO from 14th of September 2012 on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the coordinative role of the Executive Committee of Regional Antiterrorist Structure of SCO on 13th of June 2013 the combined antiterrorist exercises of SCO Member States Competent Authorities «Kizigurt-Antiterror-2013» were held.
