SIX TERRORIST SUSPECTS DETAINED IN INDONESIA

Police of the Indonesian province of Central Java stated on Tuesday that the National Police's anti-terror squad Densus 88 had arrested six people in the province for alleged involvement in terrorism activities.

The Central Java Police's Chief Ahmad Luthfi told local media in Semarang that the six people were arrested in the course of separate operations in Semarang, Kudus district, Klaten district and Banyumas district, Central Java province.

He said they were allegedly involved in illegal militant organizations as Jamaah Islamiyah and Jamaah Ansharut Daulah.

Densus 88 is currently conducting further investigations on the case, Luthfi said
