THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF SCO RATS STRONGLY CONDEMNS THE TERRORIST ATTACKS ON DECEMBER 16 IN PESHAWAR

    On December 16, 2014, seven armed terrorists dressed in military uniforms attacked a school in Peshawar province, Pakistan and abducted more than 500 hostages. A series of exchanges of fire in the building led to the death of more than 140 people including 132 students in the terrorist incidents with more than 120 people injured. This terrorist attack was plotted by the “Pakistani Taliban Movement”.

    The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is the SCO observer state. The Executive Committee of SCO RATS is very concerned about the situation in the country and willing to provide all the support to assist the competent authorities of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism, separatism and extremism.

    The Executive Committee of SCO RATS strongly condemns the violent attacks of terrorism targeting civilians, especially minors, and extends condolences to the families of the people killed in the terrorist attacks.
