Ruslan Mirzaev takes part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States

The Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Ruslan Mirzayev, took part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States held on July 4, 2024, in Astana.

In his address Ruslan Mirzayev noted that improving measures to counter terrorist, separatist and extremist threats is a constant focus of the SCO RATS. He presented some outcomes of the joint activities of the competent authorities of the SCO member states in countering the forces of the “three evils”. He emphasized the need to intensify practical cooperation in exposing and discrediting the activities of ideological centers that disseminate the ideology of terrorism, separatism and extremism, creating effective barrier measures and security systems around the regions where international terrorists are based, depriving them of the opportunity to receive logistical support and regroup.
