The 10th meeting of the Permanent Expert Group of the Anti-Terrorism Center of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization was held under the chairmanship of the RATS SCO Executive Committee on December 5, 2024.

 

In accordance with the Agenda, during the Permanent Expert Group meeting, the parties discussed a number of important and relevant issues. They exchanged information on the challenges and threats to the states of the Central Asian region and joint measures to respond to them. The CIS ATC shared its experience in countering Internet resources used for terrorist and extremist purposes. Regarding international cooperation, new initiatives for organizing joint events were discussed. The parties also agreed to hold the next (11th) meeting of the Permanent Expert Group at the CIS ATC in the first half of 2025.

Following the meeting of the Permanent Expert Group, a protocol was signed.
