A regular meeting of the Group of Legal Experts of the SCO Member States was held in Beijing at the venue of the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side on January 14-17, 2025.

The experts discussed the draft Agenda and documentary materials planned for submission to the 43rd meeting of the Council of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) of the SCO. Draft decisions of the RATS Council of the SCO on the most important areas of counter-terrorism cooperation were developed and agreed.

During the meeting, participants also exchanged views on other relevant issues related to the activities of the SCO RATS and its Executive Committee.

The event was held in an atmosphere of constructive and motivated dialogue between the parties.

The heads of delegations of the competent authorities of the SCO member states expressed gratitude to the SCO Secretariat and the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS for the excellent organization of the event.
