The Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Ularbek Sharsheev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Baxtiyor  Saidov held a meeting on January 22, 2025, at the venue of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

"Presently, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is undergoing rapid changes; the number of member states is increasing, turning our "Shanghai family" into an influential international center with an equal, balanced and stable system. The military and political processes taking place near the borders of the SCO space bring to the fore the task of maintaining a high level of security," Ularbek Sharsheev emphasized in his address.

He also emphasised the significant contribution of the competent authorities of Uzbekistan to the common cause of counteracting the forces of the three evils and expressed gratitude to the Government of the host country for their responsible approach to supporting the activities of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS.
