The Director of the Executive Committee Ularbek Sharsheev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda held a meeting at the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on January 22, 2025.

The Ambassador of Tajikistan warmly congratulated Ularbek Sharsheev on assuming the post of Director, emphasized the importance of the effective activities of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure as a factor in ensuring regional security, and assured of his readiness to further strengthen the traditionally close cooperation with the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS.

During the conversation, the Director of the Executive Committee informed the Ambassador about the events planned for the current year in the format of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure. The parties exchanged views on issues of global and regional security related to the activities of the RATS SCO.

The meeting was held in a friendly and businesslike atmosphere.
