Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Ularbek Sharsheev visited the Russian Federation from 4 to 7 February 2025. He held meetings with the heads of the Federal Security Service, the Federal Financial Monitoring Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Anti-Terrorism Center and the Coordination Service of the Council of Commanders of the Border Troops of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

During the conversations, Ularbek Sharsheev informed the other parties about the events planned in the short term under the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure. The parties exchanged views on global and regional security issues and discussed individual areas of further cooperation.

The meetings were held in an atmosphere of goodwill and constructive dialogue.
