On 27 March 2025 in St. Petersburg the SCO RATS delegation headed by the Deputy Director Artur Golovanov took part in the international scientific and practical conference of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly on the topic “Relevant directions of legal support for the CSTO collective security system up to 2030’ (conference).

During the conference, Artur Golovanov, on behalf of the Director of the Executive Committee, expressed his gratitude for the invitation and warm welcome. In his address he informed the conference participants about the practice of international anti-terrorist cooperation in the SCO RATS format, the mechanisms of interaction used by the Executive Committee, as well as the joint measures taken to counter terrorism, separatism and extremism.

The conference participants discussed the key areas of development and improvement of the legal framework for strengthening collective security in the region until 2030  and touched upon the issues of global and regional threats and counter-terrorism.

In addition, on the margins of the conference, the SCO RATS delegation had a bilateral meeting with the Executive Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation Sergey Pospelov. During the meeting, they exchanged views on relevant issues related to ensuring security and prospects for cooperation in this area.
