Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Ularbek Sharsheev paid a visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan from 23 to 26 April 2025. During his stay, he held meetings with the leadership of the Joint Committee of Chiefs of Staff, the Army Headquarters, the High Operations Directorate and Counter-Terrorism Department of the Ministry of Defense, the Pakistan Rangers of the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the discussions, Ularbek Sharsheev briefed the hosts on the activities planned in the short term within the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure. The sides exchanged views on global and regional security issues and discussed certain areas of further cooperation.

The meetings were held in an atmosphere of goodwill and constructive dialogue.
