The Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Ularbek Sharsheev visited the Islamic Republic of Iran From May 12 to 15, 2025. During his visit, he held meetings with the leadership of the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Intelligence Organization under the Ministry of Information, and the Ground Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

During the discussions, Sharsheev talked about the activities planned in the short term within the framework of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure. The sides exchanged views on global and regional security issues and discussed specific areas for further cooperation.

The meetings took place in an atmosphere of goodwill and constructive dialogue.
