At the invitation of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, a delegation of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS, headed by Director Ularbek Sharshiev took part in the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues held from May 28 to 29, 2025, in Moscow.

 

The theme of the forum was  “Shaping an architecture of equal and indivisible security: challenges and opportunities for the Global South and East,” and it was attended by 106 delegations led by heads of embassies and national special services of countries from Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and South America, as well as relevant international organizations.

The meeting participants discussed the main trends in the unfolding of the international situation, threats to the stability of the global order, challenges and opportunities for ensuring information security in the context of the development of a polycentric world order, and the problems of preserving national identity and traditional values as elements of maintaining international security, peace, and stability.

Heads of diplomatic missions, national special services and law enforcement agencies, as well as international organizations, presented information and their assessments.

Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS Ularbek Sharsheev reported on the measures taken by the competent authorities of the SCO member states to improve cooperation and strengthen the fight against the “three forces of evil,” as well as to ensure the security of the peoples of the “Shanghai family.”

The international meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere.
