Delegation of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS, headed by Director Ularbek Sharsheev, took part in the 20th Meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils and National Security Advisors of the SCO Member States on June 24, 2025, in Beijing.

During the meeting, participants exchanged views on security and stability situation in the SCO space. They discussed relevant issues of the international situation and directions for further improving cooperation between SCO member states in the field of security.

The participants proposed measures to develop cooperation and improve mechanisms for interaction between SCO member states in the areas of countering terrorism, separatism and extremism, transnational organized crime, and ensuring international information security.

Director of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO Ularbek Sharsheev reported on the results of the activities of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure, measures taken by the competent authorities of the SCO member states to improve cooperation and strengthen the fight against the “three forces of evil,” as well as ensuring the security of the peoples of the “Shanghai family,” the active participation of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO in developing conceptual approaches to the formation of a Universal Center for Countering Challenges and Threats to the Security of SCO Member States and its branch, the Center for Countering International Organized Crime in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.

The parties reconfirmed their commitment to the principles of equal and indivisible security and respect for the fundamental norms of international law.
