The Executive Committee of the RATC SCO took part in a video conference on the topic:  “Countering radicalization leading to terrorism and extremism,” held as part of the OSCE Annual Conference on Security Review (Vienna, Austria) on June 26, 2025.

In his speech, Deputy Director Umid Tashkuziev stressed that the competent authorities of the SCO RATS pay great attention to the issue of radicalization and informed the participants about the measures being taken to prevent and counter radical, extremist, and other destructive manifestations. Emphasis was placed on comprehensive cooperation between the competent authorities of the SCO member states in the areas of legal regulation, countering the spread of radical religious ideology, protecting the SCO's information space, and exchanging information.

At the end of the event, participants expressed confidence that the cooperation and collective efforts to formulate effective deradicalization policies will develop further.
