Delegation of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS takes part in the International Applied Biathlon Championship
The city of Grodno in the Republic of Belarus hosted the International Applied Biathlon Championship among border agencies of the CIS member states on August 27–28, 2025, The championship was attended by more than 100 top athletes from national teams of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Russian Federation, as well as observers from the Republic of Tajikistan and law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Belarus.
At the invitation of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Coordination Service of the Council of CIS Border Troops Commanders, delegations from the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan took part in the events as honorable guests and observers.
In addition to the improvement of professional skills, sports events contribute to the strengthening of trust, the exchange of experience, and the expansion of international cooperation in the field of security and countering common challenges and threats.
The delegation of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS highly appreciated the way the event was organized, noting its important role in strengthening service and combat traditions, increasing the combat readiness of border service personnel, and developing applied sports.
