SCO RATS delegation took part in the Infoforum-23 25th Big National Information Security Forum
The delegation of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, headed by the Deputy Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS Rakesh Kumar Verma, took part in the Infoforum-23 25th Big National Information Security Forum, held in Moscow from February 6-7, 2023.
The Infoforum National Information Security Forum is one of the most representative events dedicated to the issues of ensuring information security in the Russian Federation.
More than 2,000 delegates from all regions of the Russian Federation, representatives of federal and regional authorities, leading Russian and international IT companies, educational and scientific research centers, as well as international organizations took part in the Infoforum-2023.
The Infoforum-2023 was held jointly by the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, the Office of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and the Infoforum National Information Security Forum Association.
As part of the key event on the agenda, the Plenary session of Infoforum-2023, pressing issues related to the protection of critical information infrastructure and ensuring information security of various government agencies and enterprises were considered. Participants also discussed issues related to current threats to network security and ways to address them, as well as digital sovereignty and international cooperation.
According to the thematic content, the Delegation of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO also took part in the 6th Infoforum session entitled “International information security - the present-day issue.” During this session, head of the SCO RATS delegation Rakesh Kumar Verma made a statement. He noted that in order to be successful in ensuring international information security and countering the “three forces of evil”, terrorism, extremism and separatism, it seems feasible to adopt and implement mutually agreed comprehensive measures of an organizational, technical, informational and ideological character at the collective level.
Infoforum-2023 was extremely well organized. The event was carried out in the atmosphere of a constructive dialogue and mutual understanding.
