A working meeting between the Executive Committee of SCO RATS and CIS ATC has been held

On April 13, 2023, a working meeting of representatives of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS and the Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS Member States (CIS ATC) was held at the CIS ATC venue. It was dedicated to planning and holding joint anti-terrorist exercises of the competent bodies of the SCO member states and joint anti-terrorist exercises of the competent bodies of the CIS member states called “Eurasia-Antiterror-2023” in 2023 in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was also attended by representatives of the Council of the Heads of Security Agencies and Intelligence Services of the CIS Member States and the National Antiterrorism Committee of the Russian Federation.

The delegation of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS learned about the CIS member states’ experience of holding joint anti-terrorist exercises since 2001 under the coordination of the CIS ATC, as well as the functionality of communication terminals of information systems used collectively by the competent authorities of the CIS member states taking part in such events.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged proposals on the procedure of planning anti-terrorist exercises under the auspices of the SCO RATS and the CIS ATC.

The parties agreed to continue their collaboration.

The meeting was held in a businesslike and constructive atmosphere.
