Delegation of the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus visits the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS

The Executive Committee of the SCO RATS hosted a meeting between the Director of the Executive Committee Ruslan Mirzaev and the First Deputy Chairman of the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus Major General Sergey Terebov on May 18, 2023,

During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the current interaction between the SCO RATS and the KGB of Belarus, as well as on the prospects for further development of cooperation in the light of the forthcoming accession of the Republic of Belarus to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and joining the activities of the SCO RATS Executive Committee. The parties were pleased to note the strengthening of contacts and their meaningfulness.

The importance of further enhancement of cooperation to counter terrorism, separatism and extremism in all their forms and manifestations, as well as the systematization of work in the most important areas of ongoing work was emphasized.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of goodwill and constructive dialogue.
