Meeting held with the Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asia

Director of the Executive Committee Ruslan Mirzaev met with the Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asia Ms. Terhi Hakala on October 10, 2023 at the venue of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current international and regional security issues and noted the importance of consolidating international efforts in countering emerging challenges and threats. They highly appreciated the establishment and development of contacts between the SCO RATS Executive Committee and the European Union in the interests of security and stability in the regions of responsibility of the SCO and the EU.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and constructive dialogue.
