The final phase of the joint anti-terrorist exercise of the competent authorities of the SCO member states “Manesar-Anti-Terror-2022” (hereinafter referred to as JATE or “the Exercise”) was successfully held under the auspices of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization at the Manesar training ground in the Republic of India on October 13, 2022.

During the exercise, participants demonstrated effective cooperation and the ability to jointly counter specific types of terrorist threats.

The heads of the delegations of the SCO member states who took part in the event noted that it was extremely well planned and organised, stressed the need to hold such events, and expressed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in the field of countering terrorism and maintaining peace and security in the region.

Besides the delegations of the SCO member states, representatives of the competent authorities of the SCO observer states, as well as the CIS ATC and the CSTO were invited to the Exercise.
