Ruslan Mirzaev meets with the head of the Regional Delegation of ICRC in Central Asia

Director of the Executive Committee Ruslan Mirzaev met with the Head of Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Central Asia Ms. Biljana Milosevic on March 25, 2024, at the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS.

Ms. Biljana Milosevic emphasized the importance of the SCO RATS’s role in Central Asia in countering terrorism, separatism and extremism and expressed interest in expanding cooperation between the entities.

Director of the Executive Committee Ruslan Mirzaev informed Ms. Milosevic about the main objectives and functions of the Organization and current areas of cooperation with other international organizations in the field of countering terrorism, separatism and extremism. He appreciated the role of the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Central Asia and their active participation in the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference of the SCO RATS.

During the conversation, the Parties exchanged views on the issues of manifestations of terrorism at the global and regional levels and discussed in detail further steps in the development of interaction for the benefit of the security of the region.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and constructive dialogue.
