EXPLOSION KILLS AT LEAST FIVE SERVICEMEN IN PAKISTAN
At least five Pakistani servicemen were killed when an improvised explosive device detonated in the southwestern province of Balochistan.
According to TASS, the Dawn newspaper reported this with reference to the Inter-Services Public Relations department (ISPR) of the Pakistan Armed Forces. According to them, the incident occurred near Kahan village, in the eastern part of the province, where, starting from December 24, 2022, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have been cleaning the area from terrorists.
The Balochistan Liberation Army, a group banned in Pakistan, claimed responsibility for the attack.
