An attack on a convoy of border guard buses took place on the N-40 highway in Pakistan's Noshki (Balochistan). As a result of the assault, at least 12 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 26 were wounded, foreign media reported.

It is noted that the attack began with an explosion, followed by an intense firefight in the Rakshani Mill area.

The explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber using a homemade device.

Two more terrorists were eliminated by the return fire from the military. The area has been cordoned off by security forces.

The Balochistan Liberation Army group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
