In India, 27 people killed in terrorist attack
A group of terrorists attacked civilians and tourists in Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam in south Kashmir, killing 27 people. This was reported by News18 India on 22 April.
“A group of terrorists affiliated to Lashkar-e-Taiba attacked a group of tourists in Baisaran valley in Pahalgam in south Kashmir, killing 27 people and injuring many others,” the report said.
It was indicated that the victims included foreigners, women and senior people. One of the attacked tourists said that two terrorists in uniform opened fire on civilians.
According to News18 India, the Resistance Front, recognised in India as a terrorist organisation, claimed responsibility for the attack.
