Eight Pakistani nationals killed in Iran

At least eight Pakistani citizens were shot dead by unidentified armed men in the city of Mehrestan in Sistan and Baluchistan province of Iran.

This was reported by Oxu.Az with reference to the Telegram channel “Free Iran.”

According to the reports, the armed men killed Pakistani car repairmen who had their hands and feet tied.

It is noted that presently the identities of the five victims have been established. The attackers have not yet been identified.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif strongly condemned the terrorist attack and called on the Iranian authorities to take immediate action.

“The Iranian government should not only apprehend the perpetrators but also provide the public with an explanation for the reasons behind this heinous crime,” he said.
