Seven People Killed in an Explosion Near the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul

This was reported by the Al Jazeera TV channel, citing a source in the security agencies of Afghanistan.

 

“As a result of a suicide bombing that targeted Afghan Foreign Ministry employees in the center of Kabul, ten people were injured. It is also reported that seven people died,” RIA Novosti reports.

 

Earlier, a spokesman for the Taliban (the organization is under UN sanctions for terrorist activities) Ahmadullah Muttaqi stated that a suicide bomber tried to enter the building of the Afghan Foreign Ministry and detonated the bomb when he was stopped by security.

 

On January 2, ISIS terrorist group (banned in the Russian Federation) claimed responsibility for the blast at the military airport in Kabul on January 1.
