Five terrorists killed when clearing police station in Pakistan

Law enforcement agencies of Pakistan succeeded in repulsing another terrorist attack and eliminating the militants who seized the police station in Karachi.

According to TASS with reference to the Geo TV channel, intelligence officers eliminated five militants of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan group during the liberation of a captured police station in Karachi.

The terrorists entered the 5-story building of the police station using someone else's police uniform and attacked the office of the police chief. Special forces troops urgently arrived at the scene. During the fight, five extremists were eliminated. Three of them detonated their suicide belts.

There were also losses on the part of law enforcement agencies. According to the tentative data, three people were killed, including two police officers, and another 18 people received various injuries.
