Terrorists kill two Pakistani soldiers in Balochistan
Two military personnel, including one major, were killed by unknown assailants who ambushed a “combat patrol of the security forces” in Hoshab district of Balochistan province, the Pakistan Army Press Office (ISPR) stated.
It was reported that the Pakistan Army conducted an intelligence-led operation in this district to detain the militants. In the process of the area being blocked, a group of militants ambushed one of the combat patrols.
While establishment of blocking positions to cut the escape routes was underway, a group of terrorists tried to ambush closing in patrol and opened fire at security forces.
As a result of heavy exchange of fire, Major Saqib Hussain and Naik Baqir Ali were killed while another soldier got injured.
Also, on July 3, security forces carried out a similar operation, eliminating three terrorists in the Dera Ismail Khan district of the neighboring province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earlier, a terrorist attack was carried out targeting one of the border points in Balochistan, as a result, three policemen and one border guard were killed.
