People killed in terrorist attack in Pakistan

An explosion took place in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north-west of Pakistan. The explosive device was detonated by a suicide bomber, killing two people, inbusiness.kz reports citing the Associated Press.

According to local authorities, the terrorist, who was in the car bomb, probably detonated the explosive device prematurely or by mistake. The explosion killed a married couple who were in another car nearby.

The incident took place in the North Waziristan district near the border with Afghanistan, which was previously considered an area of concentration of radical extremist groups that carried out terrorist attacks in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Pakistani security forces said they had cleared North Waziristan and other former tribal areas in the country's northwest of militants.
