Terrorist attack in Pakistan kills 13

At least 13 people were killed and two others injured when a bomb was detonated in northwestern Pakistan. This was reported by the Dawn newspaper, citing the police.

The incident took place in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The explosion completely destroyed the van by which the workers were traveling.

Local authorities noted that the militants planted a bomb on the side of the road, intending to hit a convoy of the country's security forces. The explosive device went off as convoy approached.
