Kataib Hezbollah announces resumption of attacks against US bases

Due to the lack of progress on withdrawing US troops from Iraq, it was decided to resume attacks against US forces, the Iraqi group Kataib Hezbollah reported.

The group announced the resumption of attacks after a visit by Iraqi authorities to Washington had not brought meaningful results regarding the withdrawal of US troops. Kataib Hezbollah also indicated that “what happened recently” was the “beginning” - apparently, they were referring to the attack on an American base in Syria from Iraq, RIA Novosti reports, citing Reuters.

Let us remind you that a US military base near the Syrian city of Hasakah came under rocket fire and was also attacked by a drone. It was later reported that the US Air Force destroyed a rocket launcher that was firing at the military airfield from Iraq.
