Pakistani security forces eliminate 10 terrorists in the east of the country

Pakistani police and security forces eliminated ten terrorists in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces, RIA Novosti writes.

Law enforcement officers succeeded in eliminating six terrorists during an intelligence operation conducted in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Balochistan counter-terrorism department officials also tracked down and eliminated another group of terrorists who opened fire on a police vehicle on the Quetta-Sibi road at night.

Earlier, militants from the Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the explosion in northwestern Pakistan.
