Soldier and three terrorists killed in southwest Pakistan

An army officer leading an offensive against terrorists was killed along with three militants in a clash in Pakistan's Balochistan province. This was reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department, the press service of the Pakistani army.

According to the statement, the clash took place in Zhob district in response to an operation carried out by security forces based on intelligence.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were confiscated from the dead terrorists.

The ISPR noted that an operation is currently underway to clear the area of all terrorists.
