The Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed three terrorist bases in Syria

The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) eliminated three terrorist bases in the Syrian governorates of Homs and Deir ez-Zor. The deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties (CPVS) in Syria Major General Yuri Popov announced this during a briefing on Thursday.

“Strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed three bases of militants who had left the al-Tanf zone and were hiding in hard-to-reach areas of the Al-Amur mountain ranges in Homs province and Al-Bishri in Deir ez-Zor governorate,” he said.

Popov also informed that the terrorist group Jabhat al-Nusra fired at the positions of Syrian government troops in Idlib governorate. As a result, one soldier was injured.
