Kyrgyzstan shares concerns about concentration of terrorists in northern Afghanistan

The concentration of terrorists in northern Afghanistan has reached a scale that threatens the integrity of the southern borders of the CIS states, said Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan Kamchybek Tashiev.

“The ongoing process of concentration of terrorists in the northern province of Afghanistan, which has reached a scale that threatens the integrity of the southern borders of the CIS countries, requires special attention from our intelligence services,” Tashiev said at the 54th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Countries in Bishkek.
