PARTICIPANTS OF THE ATTACK ON IRANIAN SHAH CHERAGH MAUSOLEUM HAVE BEEN CHARGED

Iran has charged the main participants in the armed attack on the Shah Cheragh mausoleum in the city of Shiraz, said prosecutor general Kazem Mousavi, of Fars province located in southern Iran.

“An investigation was carried out as soon as possible after this terrorist attack took place and a criminal case was initiated; the identification and detention of the suspects and putting them on the case of special judicial conclusions. Today, 40 days after the attack, the case by the prosecutor's office completed consideration of the case, indictments were issued and the case was sent to the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Shiraz,” RIA Novosti quotes Mousavi as saying.

On the evening of October 26, during a visit of believers to the Shah-Cherakh mausoleum, three unidentified people opened fire on them. As a result, according to media reports, 13 people died and 45 were injured. All participants in the attack were detained by law enforcement agencies.
