Nine terrorists eliminated in operations in northwest Pakistan
Security forces eliminated nine terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan. This was reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), acting as the press service of the Pakistani army.
According to the ISPR statement, security forces conducted intelligence-based operations in Khyber and Lakki Marwat Agency. In the first operation, seven terrorists, including two commanders, were eliminated in Tirah area of Khyber Agency.
The ISPR statement said that arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered during the operation, adding that the eliminated terrorists were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities and were wanted by security forces.
In a separate operation in Lakki Marwat area, security forces eliminated two terrorists.
Clearance operations are currently underway to eliminate all other terrorists found in the area.
