ARMED CLASH TOOK PLACE ON THE BORDER OF AFGHANISTAN AND PAKISTAN

At least five people were killed and more than 20 were injured in a clash on the Afghan-Pakistani border in Kandahar, according to Aamaj News.

The shootout took place on the afternoon of December 11 in the vicinity of the Wesh-Chaman border crossing near the Afghan town of Spin Boldak. The reasons for the confrontation were not provided.

Clashes with casualties on both sides in the area were also observed in November.
