The Russian Aerospace Forces strike a militant training camp in Syria
A militant training camp was hit by strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) in the Syrian governorate of Idlib. The Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties in the Arab Republic announced this on July 11.
“In order to suppress ongoing violations of the ceasefire regime, the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out high-precision strikes on the targets of illegal armed groups in Idlib governorate on July 10,” the Center said in a statement on its website.
It is reported that strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces hit the Ashkhani-Takhtani militant training camp, a drone production workshop and two unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) warehouses, as well as strongholds of illegal armed groups.
“Up to 15 militants were eliminated, and more than 20 militants were wounded.” - Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties indicated.
The Center also stated that two Syrian soldiers were injured as a result of an improvised explosive device being dropped from a quadcopter launched by terrorists from the Kafer Hani area in the Urum es-Sughra area of Aleppo province.
