Four security personnel and three terrorists were killed in a clash in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan. This was announced on Wednesday by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which acts as the press service of the Pakistani army.

According to the statement, security forces carried out an intelligence-led operation in Hasan Khel administrative subdivision of Peshawar district in the province based on the reports of the presence of terrorists.

During the operation, following an exchange of fire, three terrorists were eliminated, including one commander, the ISPR said, adding that four security personnel were also killed during the intense exchange of fire.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the eliminated terrorists, the statement said.
