During the ongoing activities to counter religious extremist and foreign terrorist organizations, a foreign citizen, someone K.Sh.N., born in 1973, who was an active member of Hizb ut-Tahrir extremist group, and since 2002 was wanted by law enforcement agencies of neighboring countries for involvement in the Hizbut-Tahrir REO, has been detained in Kara-Suu district of Osh region.

It was established that K.Sh.N. had been hiding in Kara-Suu region for 20 years, maintaining contacts with individual active members of Hizb ut-Tahrir extremist group.

During the educational and preventive work carried out with him, K.Sh.N. fully realized the harm caused by the radical extremist ideology and renounced membership of this prohibited religious organization.

Also, he officially called on people not to sway to the calls from members of banned organizations as those calls were illegal.
