A car exploded in the city of Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, not far fr om a cafe wh ere visitors were watching the final of the European Championship 2024 in Germany, Shabelle Media Network reports. As a result, five people died and about 20 were injured.

It is already known that the car was rigged with explosives. Garowe Online suggested that the explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber. The exact causes of the tragedy have yet to be established.
