The terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the Moscow region was orchestrated by an international team comprising representatives from Central Asian and European countries, including Russians. The head of RosFinMonitoring Yuri Chikhanchin announced this at a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Budget and Financial Markets on July 16.

“As for Crocus City, I would not say too much at this point, because the investigation is ongoing. But I can say that obviously this was an international team with representatives from different countries. These are representatives of Central Asian and European countries, and there are a lot of Russians there,” said the head of the agency.

Chikhanchin also noted that the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall was financed, inter alia, using cryptocurrency.
