A member of one of the foreign terrorist organizations was detained in Kyrgyzstan by security officers for distributing extremist materials. The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of the republic reported this to TASS.

“The State Committee for National Security detained a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, who was actively promoting narratives of a foreign terrorist organization, for disseminating materials of an extremist and terrorist nature,” the statement said.

According to the State Committee for National Security, the suspect distributed photographs and videos that qualify as “public calls for terrorist activities” and calls to overthrow the existing constitutional order in the country.
