Four people, including two policemen, were injured in an attack in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, police said.

The incident took place in the provincial capital Peshawar. A police vehicle was blown up by a roadside bomb, Peshawar police told media.

The police said the rapid response team was patrolling the city when it was attacked on a busy road.

The injured people, including two bystanders, were taken to a nearby hospital and are in stable condition.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
