PROSECUTORS GENERAL OF RUSSIA AND IRAN AGREE TO JOINTLY COUNTER CRIME AND TERRORISM

Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov met with his colleague, Prosecutor General Mohammad Jafar Montazeri during a working visit to Iran. As a result of the meeting, the parties signed a program of cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Offices of the two countries until 2025, addressing the most pressing issues of mutual interest. These issues include countering terrorism and extremism, including in the information and communication area. In addition, the Prosecutors General agreed to establish a joint working group to combat crime.
