A 26-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk was sentenced in Chita to 5 years and 6 months in a general regime penal colony for justifying and promoting terrorism. This was disclosed to a Chita.Ru correspondent by the 2nd Eastern District Military Court on August 29.

The man had a correspondence promoting radical Islamic ideas and the ideology of violence.

The court also banned him from administering websites and other Internet resources  for 2 years.
