Three terrorists were eliminated on Wednesday during a clash with the Counter Terrorism Department in Punjab province in eastern Pakistan. This was stated in a statement by the agency.

The incident occurred in the provincial capital Lahore during a raid on a residential complex where, as security forces suspected, terrorists were taking shelter.

It is noted that “during the raid, the terrorists opened fire on law enforcement officers.” As a result, only three of their accomplices were killed by the gunfire.

Two terrorists managed to escape, and a search operation is underway.

During the raid, weapons and ammunition were seized: both those stored in the residential complex and those found on the bodies of the eliminated terrorists.
